Martin and Louise Allan welcome you to Tigh nan Saor in the village of Plockton, known all over the world for its hospitality and scenic beauty.

Our traditional stone family house sits on the water's edge with spectacular views over the loch, to the towering Duncraig Crags and the castle below. We are in the centre of the village, close to local amenities.

All our rooms have en-suite facilities (shower or bathroom), colour television, wireless internet access and hospitality trays.

Plockton

This North West Highland village sits on a point ('ploc') with the Applecross peninsula to the north and the Isle of Skye to the west. Plockton is four hours drive from Edinburgh or Glasgow, less than two from Inverness, and also sits on the famous Inverness—Kyle railway line.

Formerly reliant on fishing and crofting, the area is now host to visitors from all over the world, who come for the magnificent scenery and the relaxed pace of life. (Plockton may already be familiar — it's Loch Dubh in the BBC television series, Hamish MacBeth.)

With excellent accommodation facilities and good eating places, Plockton is ideal as a holiday destination in itself, or for just a short break.
